أثارت المطربة رحمة محسن موجة واسعة من الجدل عبر مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي، بعدما لاحظ متابعوها إلغاء متابعة الفنان أحمد العوضي على (إنستغرام)، قبل أن يرد الأخير بالإجراء نفسه، في خطوة لفتت الأنظار بالتزامن مع تصريحات الفنانة يارا السكري حول علاقتها بالعوضي خلال الفترة الماضية.
ورصد الجمهور اختفاء حساب أحمد العوضي من قائمة الحسابات التي تتابعها رحمة، ليتبين لاحقًا أن العوضي ألغى بدوره متابعتها، دون صدور أي تعليق من الطرفين يوضح أسباب هذه الخطوة المفاجئة.
وجاءت الواقعة في وقت يتصاعد فيه الحديث حول علاقة العوضي ويارا السكري، بعد ظهورهما معًا في ندوة في دبي، بحضور الإعلامي نيشان الذي وجّه سؤالًا مباشرًا لهما حول طبيعة العلاقة بينهما، مطالبًا إياهما بالاعتراف بحبهما.

The audience noticed the disappearance of Ahmed El Awady’s account from the list of accounts that Rahma follows, only to later find out that El Awady had also unfollowed her, without any comment from either party clarifying the reasons for this sudden step.
The incident came at a time when discussions about the relationship between El Awady and Yara El Sokary are escalating, following their appearance together at a seminar in Dubai, attended by media personality Neshan, who directed a direct question to them about the nature of their relationship, urging them to confess their love.
