في خطوة غير متوقعة قلبت موازين الوسط الفني، وتحديداً قبل أيام قليلة من انطلاق ماراثون سينمائي شرس يجمعهما، قررت الفنانة المصرية مي عمر كسر حالة الجمود وطي صفحة الخلافات الحادة مع زميلتها النجمة ياسمين عبد العزيز، عبر مبادرة علنية أثارت عاصفة من التفاعل على منصات التواصل الاجتماعي.
هذه الخطوة جاءت في وقت حساس جداً، حيث تستعد مي عمر لطرح فيلمها الجديد «شمشون ودليلة» مع النجم أحمد العوضي (طليق ياسمين عبد العزيز) في 8 يوليو الجاري، بينما تستعد ياسمين لطرح فيلمها «خلي بالك من نفسك» مع أحمد السقا في 22 يوليو.
ورغم الخلافات السابقة، حرصت مي عمر على إظهار روح الزمالة، حيث نشرت عبر خاصية «القصص» (Stories) على حسابها الرسمي في «إنستغرام» الملصق الدعائي لفيلم ياسمين والسقا، وعلقت بكلمات مليئة بالود قائلة: «مبروك أخويا الجدع والنجم الكبير أحمد السقا (الساموراي)، والنجمة الكبيرة ياسمين عبد العزيز اللي كلنا بنحب أفلامها.. إن شاء الله الفيلم يكسر الدنيا، وأنا أول واحدة متحمسة أتفرج عليه».
السقا يرد بحماس.. وصمت غامض من ياسمين
ردود الأفعال على هذه المبادرة جاءت متباينة ومثيرة للجدل:
- رد أحمد السقا: سرعان ما التقط السقا الرسالة وأعاد نشرها كاتبًا بحماس: «ألف مبروك عليكي إنتِ يا ميوش القلب من جوه.. وبالنجاح يا دليلة.. ويلا بينا».
- موقف ياسمين عبد العزيز: في المقابل، فرضت ياسمين صمتاً غامضاً تماماً ولم تعلق أو تتفاعل مع رسالة مي عمر حتى اللحظة، مما فتح باب التكهنات والتحليلات بين الجمهور.
ويعود أصل هذا الجفاء والاشتعال بين النجمتين إلى الموسم الدرامي الرمضاني الماضي، حيث اندلعت أزمة تصريحات متبادلة وهجوم مبطن بشأن العمل الذي حقق لقب «الأعلى مشاهدة».
وتطورت الأزمة لاحقاً لتأخذ طابعاً شخصياً وعتاباً ثقيلاً، بعد اتهامات لمي عمر بأن ياسمين لم تقدم لها واجب العزاء في وفاة والدها، وفي المقابل، عتبت ياسمين على مي بسبب عدم تواصلها معها للاطمئنان عليها أثناء وعكتها الصحية الأخيرة، ليبقى السؤال المطروح الآن في الشارع الفني: هل تكسر ياسمين عبد العزيز صمتها وترد على المبادرة، أم أن قطار الصلح قد فات؟
In an unexpected move that turned the balance of the artistic community upside down, just a few days before the start of a fierce cinematic marathon that brings them together, Egyptian artist Mai Omar decided to break the state of stagnation and close the chapter on the sharp disagreements with her colleague, star Yasmin Abdel Aziz, through a public initiative that sparked a storm of interaction on social media platforms.
This step came at a very sensitive time, as Mai Omar is preparing to release her new film “Samson and Delilah” with star Ahmed El Awady (Yasmin Abdel Aziz’s ex-husband) on July 8, while Yasmin is preparing to release her film “Take Care of Yourself” with Ahmed El Sakka on July 22.
Despite the previous disagreements, Mai Omar was keen to show a spirit of camaraderie, as she shared on the “Stories” feature of her official Instagram account the promotional poster for Yasmin and El Sakka’s film, commenting with warm words: “Congratulations to my dear brother and the great star Ahmed El Sakka (the Samurai), and the great star Yasmin Abdel Aziz, whose films we all love.. God willing, the film will break records, and I am the first one excited to watch it.”
El Sakka responds enthusiastically.. and Yasmin remains mysteriously silent
Reactions to this initiative were varied and controversial:
- Ahmed El Sakka’s response: El Sakka quickly picked up the message and reshared it, writing enthusiastically: “A thousand congratulations to you, my dear Mai, from the heart.. and wishing success to Delilah.. Let’s go!”
- Yasmin Abdel Aziz’s stance: In contrast, Yasmin imposed a complete and mysterious silence, not commenting or interacting with Mai Omar’s message up to this moment, opening the door for speculation and analysis among the audience.
The origin of this coldness and tension between the two stars dates back to the last Ramadan drama season, where a crisis erupted over exchanged statements and veiled attacks regarding the work that achieved the title of “most watched.”
The crisis later developed to take on a personal tone and heavy reproach, after accusations were made against Mai Omar that Yasmin did not offer her condolences for the death of her father, while Yasmin reproached Mai for not reaching out to check on her during her recent health crisis. The question now posed in the artistic community remains: Will Yasmin Abdel Aziz break her silence and respond to the initiative, or has the train of reconciliation already left?
