أشعل حفل الفنان المصري عمرو دياب في منطقة آيلة بمدينة العقبة الأردنية موجة واسعة من الجدل على مواقع التواصل، بعدما خطفت منسقة الموسيقى اللبنانية كلوي كتيلي الأنظار خلال فقرة الافتتاح بإطلالة اعتبرها كثيرون «جريئة»، بينما رأى آخرون أنها جزء من طبيعة الحفل وأجوائه.
لكن النقاش لم يتوقف عند الإطلالة، إذ اتسع بعد أن نشرت كتيلي صورة لها من العقبة وأرفقتها بعبارة: «وإذا سألوني من وين هالجمال.. بقول من بنات الأردن».
الجملة أثارت ردود فعل متباينة؛ فبينما اعتبرتها بعض الأردنيات ربطًا غير دقيق بصورة المرأة الأردنية، رأى آخرون أنها مجرد مجاملة للجمهور المحلي.
وهكذا تحوّل ظهور الـ(دي جي) اللبنانية من فقرة افتتاحية قصيرة إلى محور نقاش واسع، بين من انتقد ملابسها وتعليقها، ومن دافع عن حريتها الشخصية، ليصبح الحفل مادة للجدل رغم أن عمرو دياب لم يكن طرفًا فيه هذه المرة.
The concert of the Egyptian artist Amr Diab in the Ayla area of Aqaba, Jordan, sparked a wide wave of controversy on social media after the Lebanese music coordinator Chloe Kteily caught attention during the opening segment with a look that many considered “bold,” while others saw it as part of the nature and atmosphere of the event.
However, the discussion did not stop at her appearance; it expanded after Kteily posted a picture of herself from Aqaba along with the phrase: “And if they ask me where this beauty is from… I say from the girls of Jordan.”
The sentence provoked mixed reactions; while some Jordanian women considered it an inaccurate association with the image of Jordanian women, others saw it as merely a compliment to the local audience.
Thus, the appearance of the Lebanese DJ transformed from a short opening segment into a broad topic of discussion, between those who criticized her clothing and comment, and those who defended her personal freedom, making the concert a subject of controversy even though Amr Diab was not involved this time.
