دخلت الفنانة المصرية نيللي كريم في نوبة بكاء على الهواء بعد حديثها عن معاناتها بعد حرمانها من رؤية أبنائها لمدة عامين، وأكّدت أنها تأثرت نفسيًا بشكل كبير خلال تلك الفترة بسبب ابتعادها عنهم.

وذكرت نيللي كريم في تصريحات تلفزيونية أن الخلافات التي تنشأ بين الزوجين بعد الانفصال، غالبًا ما تنعكس سلبًا على الأبناء الذين يصبحون الضحية الأولى لهذه النزاعات.

وعبرت نيللي عن تحفظها لبعض بنود قانون الأحوال الشخصية، معتبرةً أن هناك حالات لا تحقق التوازن المطلوب بين حقوق الأب والأم ومصلحة الأبناء، وشددت على ضرورة مراعاة البعد الإنساني والنفسي للأطفال عند التعامل مع قضايا الحضانة.
أزمة نفسية
كما كشفت نيللي كريم عن مرورها بفترة صعبة أثناء عملها في دار الأوبرا المصرية، حيث عانت من حالة اكتئاب مفاجئة دون سبب واضح أثرت على نشاطها اليومي وجعلتها ترفض أحيانًا حضور التدريبات، ما أثار حيرة من حولها.
وأوضحت أنها سافرت مع والدها إلى روسيا خلال تلك الفترة قبل أن تتجه لاحقًا مع والدتها إلى سيدة قامت ببعض الطقوس الشعبية باستخدام الشمع لعدة أيام، واعتبرت أن حالتها قد تكون مرتبطة بالحسد أو السحر؛ وفق تفسيرها الشخصي.

Nelly Karim also revealed that she went through a difficult period while working at the Egyptian Opera House, where she suffered from a sudden depression without a clear reason that affected her daily activities and made her sometimes refuse to attend rehearsals, which puzzled those around her.
She explained that she traveled with her father to Russia during that period before later going with her mother to a woman who performed some folk rituals using wax for several days, and she considered that her condition might be related to envy or magic; according to her personal interpretation.
